Tatiana S.

Tatiana S. has extensive work experience in the biomedical field. Tatiana currently holds the position of Mass Spectrometry Scientist at OMass Therapeutics since February 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at OUH NHS Foundation Trust from 2013 to 2022, starting as an Assistant Biomedical Scientist and progressing to roles such as Specialist Biomedical Scientist, Senior Biomedical Scientist, and Biomedical Scientist. While at OUH NHS Foundation Trust, Tatiana's responsibilities included working in the HPLC section, performing assays for the diagnosis of oncologic and metabolic diseases, troubleshooting equipment and method issues, training new staff, and managing documentation and quality of the section. Tatiana also received training in HbA1c measurement and faecal occult blood analysis. Before joining OUH NHS Foundation Trust, Tatiana worked as an Assistant Practitioner at the sendaway section, where they processed samples and trained new staff. In addition to their biomedical experience, Tatiana worked as a Social Promoter at Tome Nota II and as a Sales person at Feira de São Mateus.

Tatiana S. began their education journey by completing a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Analysis and Public Health at the School of Allied Health Sciences, Oporto Polytechnic Institute, from 2007 to 2011. Tatiana then pursued a Postgraduation in Bioinformatics in Health Sciences at the Universidade do Minho for the year 2012.

In 2017, Tatiana embarked on their Master of Science program, specializing in Biomedical Sciences, at the University of Westminster. This academic pursuit lasted until 2019.

To further enhance their skills and knowledge, Tatiana obtained several additional certifications. In 2015, they completed their Biomedical Scientist Accreditation from The Health and Care Professions Council. Within the same year, they obtained their Registration Portfolio from the Institute of Biomedical Science. In 2020, Tatiana successfully completed the Clinical Biochemistry Specialist Portfolio from the Institute of Biomedical Science.

Recently, in 2022-2023, Tatiana attended a Data Science Bootcamp at HyperionDev, focusing on improving their expertise in this field.
