Alfredo Amores began their career in 1989 as a Summer Student Intern at Dragados SA. In 1994, they worked as a Consultant Assistant at Indra (formerly NorSistemas & Soluziona), where they significantly improved their technological skills. In 1995, they were appointed Global Corporate Quality Management Director at FCC Servicios Ciudadanos, where they were responsible for launching a new strategic function. Alfredo then went on to become Global Corporate Talent Management Director (HR Director) and Head of Training & Quality. In 2015, Alfredo Amores joined OMD HR Consulting as a Consultancy Partner Director, specializing in the strategic management consultancy in the fields of Organization & Management Development, Compensation & Benefits and Training & Capability. In 2016, they were appointed Managing Director of OMD HR Academy, where they were responsible for implementing Key Human Resources Management Processes.

Alfredo Amores has a long and varied educational history. Alfredo attended Colegio Portaceli (Jesuit School Sevilla) from 1974-1975, Nuestra Señora del Recuerdo School (Jesuit School Madrid) from 1975-1987, and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 1987-1993, where they obtained a Master in Science Degree in Industrial Engineering (MSc). In 2000-2001, they attended Escuela de Organización Industrial for a Higher Programme in Environmental Engineering and Management. In 2011-2012, they attended IESE Business School for Management Sessions - FCC School of Management. In 2012-2013, they attended OMD HR ACADEMY for a Human Resources Advanced Management Program. In 2013, they attended Esade for Talent Management: Developing Talent to increase organization performance, and Escuela de Organización Industrial for a Higher Programme in Management and Business Administration - FCC School of Management, which they completed in 2015. In 2014, they obtained a Globalization of Business Enterprise certification from Coursera.
