Abbas Shafi

Abbas Shafi began their work experience at The Sparks Foundation in November 2022 as a Data Science Intern, where they worked until December 2022. In March 2023, Abbas joined Omdena as a Junior ML Engineer, the most recent position as of now.

Abbas Shafi's education history begins with the completion of a Diploma of Artificial Intelligence from PIAIC in the year 2023. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science from the University of Agriculture, Peshawar, which they started in 2019 and is expected to complete in 2023. Additionally, in 2021, Abbas obtained a Higher National Diploma in Artificial Intelligence (Deep Learning & Machine Learning) from the University of Engineering & Technology Peshawar.

In terms of certifications, Abbas has acquired various additional qualifications in the field of technology and mathematics. Abbas completed an Artificial Intelligence (Deep Learning/ Machine Learning) program under the Kamyab Jawan Programme in February 2022. In September 2021, they obtained a certification in Data Science & Machine Learning through the Digital Skills for KP initiative by UNDP Pakistan. Furthermore, they completed a course titled "Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)" from Coursera in December 2020, along with an "AI For Everyone" course from the same platform in November 2020. Abbas also has certifications in Digital Literacy, Creative Writing, and Freelancing from DigiSkills.pk.

In the field of mathematics, Abbas achieved notable accomplishments. Abbas participated in the 7th Inter School Mathematics Olympiad (ISMO) in 2012, organized by the Inter School Mathematics Olympiad, and secured a certificate of achievement. In 2011, they participated in the International Kangaroo Mathematics Contest held in Pakistan and obtained a certificate of participation.
