Abdelrahman Katkat has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Abdelrahman is currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Omdena, where they are involved in the development of a model to detect Deepfake images. Prior to this, they worked as a Mechanical Analysis Engineer at Brightskies, where they focused on developing a predictive model for battery pack temperature. Abdelrahman also has experience as a Research and Development Engineer at PRENG, where they co-founded and worked on educating children about robotics. Abdelrahman also volunteered as a Research and Development Engineer at AUMotorsports, conducting research on the effect of compressibility on intake manifold performance. Additionally, Abdelrahman volunteered at Torpedo ROV as a Mechanical Engineer, designing ROVs for underwater competitions.
