Caterina Bonan's work experience can be summarized as follows:

Caterina Bonan began their career as a professional volleyball player from 2001 to 2009, playing for various teams and even representing the Italian women's national team.

Caterina then transitioned into academia and research, starting as a Research Assistant at the University of Geneva from 2015 to 2019. Here, they conducted research, trained students, and contributed to data extraction and analysis.

From 2019 to 2021, Caterina worked at the University of Cambridge as an SNSF PostDoc.mobility post-doctoral fellow and an Academic Supervisor. Caterina conducted extensive research, co-authored a thematic volume, supervised students, and examined dissertations.

In 2008, Caterina Bonan began their education at Università Ca' Foscari Venezia, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistica e Glottodidattica (Linguistics and FL/L2 teaching), completing the program in 2011.
