Shamanta Rahman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Shamanta started their career as a Research Intern at BRAC in 2017, where they supported the Senior Program Specialist in developing synopses and process documentation for the Emergency Response Programme.

In 2018, they joined MGH Group as a Senior Business Executive and held this role until 2021. During their time at MGH Group, they gained extensive experience in business development and management.

In 2021, Shamanta took on various roles at different companies. Shamanta worked as a Senior Communications Specialist at Romana Paints, where they were responsible for handling communications strategies. Shamanta also worked as a County Manager at WSDA New Zealand, overseeing operations in a specific county.

Additionally, they joined Omdena twice in 2021. First, as a Project Associate, they worked on projects related to machine learning and data science. Later, they served as a Member Research Development, contributing to research initiatives.

Most recently, Shamanta joined A.P. Moller - Maersk as a Lead Logistics Agent, where they are currently working. Overall, their work experience showcases their versatility and ability to adapt to different roles and industries.

Shamanta Rahman completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management Information Systems, General from the University of Dhaka. They also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management Information Systems, General from the same university. Additionally, Shamanta obtained several certifications, including the UNDP Women's Digital Hackathon from UNDP, Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions from Microsoft, Leadership in Action from the Movers Programme, Research for Beginners from Duet Innovation Society, Research Paper Writing using Latex from GyanJam Ltd., United Nations Sustainable Development from the Movers Programme, and a Hands-on Workshop on Strategy & Competition from the BRAC University Entrepreneurship Development Forum-BUEDF. The certifications were obtained between April 2021 and August 2021.
