Akash Shah

Akash Shah has over 10 years of professional experience in the engineering and technology field. Akash began their career in 2010 as a Production Engineer and Design Engineer at GE. In 2014, Akash joined Knorr-Bremse as a Systems Engineer III, where they designed and led the execution of train simulation and automation software for global customers. In 2017, Akash joined Cooper Lighting Solutions as an R&D Group Manager, where they led a cross-functional global engineering team for new product development and managed product portfolios across three business sectors. Most recently, in 2022, Akash joined Ome as the Head of Technology, where they are responsible for execution of all end-to-end activities including supply chain, product design, and engineering.

Akash Shah has an education history spanning from 2005 to 2022. Akash obtained a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida in 2009. Akash then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisville in 2013, which they completed in 2014. In 2019, Akash began a Master of Business Administration program at Emory University's Goizueta Business School, which they are still pursuing. In 2015, Akash obtained an ASQ SSGB Green Belt certification from ASQ.
