Amber Farooqui, Ph.D. has held a variety of roles in the scientific field since 2008. Amber began as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Sardinia Research and Development (SaRD) in Italy, followed by a Scientist role at the Division of Immunology, International Institute of Infection and Immunity in Shantou University in 2009. In 2015, they were promoted to Associate Professor in the same division. In 2016, they became a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University Health Network. From 2018-2021, they held the role of Research Scientist at The Hospital for Sick Children, Visiting Professor at the Dr. Panjwani Centre for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research, and Associate Editor at the Journal of Infection in Developing Countries. In 2021, they added Laboratory Director at Omega Laboratories, Inc. and Associate Editor at Frontiers in Immunology and Frontiers in Nutrition to their work experience.
Amber Farooqui, Ph.D. completed a PhD in Microbiology from Karachi University, followed by an MSc in Microbiology from the same university.
