Simon Balkey

Simon Balkey is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in program management and technical operations, currently serving as the Managing Director of the LANL Program Management Office at Omega Technical Services since April 2018. Simon Balkey has also pursued a successful music career as a singer/songwriter since January 2009. Previously, Simon Balkey held positions such as System Engineering/Process Modeling at COMPA Industries, Inc., and Project Manager/Risk Management at PM tec, Inc., focusing on project management and risk analysis. Additionally, Simon Balkey contributed to nuclear materials disposition programs as a Technical Staff member and supervisor at Los Alamos National Laboratory and began the career as an intern in actinide chemistry operations. Simon Balkey holds a Master of Business Administration from National Technological University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from New Mexico Highlands University.
