Alexander Ely is currently a Counsel in Supreme Court & Appellate Litigation at O'Melveny & Myers LLP. They have previously served as an Associate at Covington & Burling LLP and held law clerk positions for judges in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Alexander completed their JD at Columbia University School of Law and a Master of Arts in Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University, specializing in International Negotiation & Conflict Resolution. Additionally, they are a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations, engaging with leaders across various sectors in their efforts to understand U.S. foreign policy challenges.
