John Kappos

John Kappos is a partner at O'Melveny & Myers LLP, where they have practiced as a registered patent attorney for over 20 years. They have served as lead or co-lead counsel in patent litigations in federal district courts, the International Trade Commission, and various domestic and international arbitrations. Prior to their current role, John worked as an attorney at Lyon & Lyon LLP from 1992 to 2002. They hold a PhD in Chemistry from Harvard University, which they obtained in 1991.
