Lydia Vanessa Alexandre

Lydia Vanessa Alexandre is a seasoned professional with over 18 years of experience in biotechnology and pharmaceutical project management. Currently serving as Director and CMC Team Leader at Omeros Corporation since May 2022, Lydia leads a team to manage cross-functional CMC projects from development to commercialization. Previous roles include Associate Director at bluebird bio, where strategic partnerships were established for early-stage product transitions, and CMC Program Manager at Takeda and Shire, focusing on milestone-driven development processes. Lydia's career also includes project management roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb, T2 Biosystems, IntelligentMDx, and BD Biosciences, complemented by a Master’s degree in Management from Brandeis University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico.
