Sagar Rane

Sagar Rane is a highly experienced professional in formulation and process development, currently serving as the Manager of Formulation Development at Omeros Corporation since June 2018. Prior to this role, Sagar held various positions at CIMA Labs, including Senior Manager and R&D Team Leader, where responsibilities included leading formulation development for immediate and extended release oral dosage forms and supporting CMC regulatory filings. Sagar began a career in academia as a Post-doctoral Research Scholar at the University of Kentucky, focusing on anti-cancer formulations and molecular simulations, and previously conducted research at the Maurice Morton Institute of Polymer Science and the University of Akron. With a Ph.D. in Polymer Science from the University of Akron and a B.S. in Polymer Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Sagar brings a robust scientific background and extensive industry experience to the field.
