Vaddela Sudheer Babu

Vaddela Sudheer Babu is a Senior Scientist I at Omeros Corporation, with a background in medicinal chemistry and synthetic organic chemistry. Vaddela has extensive experience, including roles as a Research Scientist at Allergan and a Post-Doc Research Associate at Harvard University, where a cost-effective diagnostic method for Buruli Ulcer was developed in collaboration with the World Health Organization. At Biocon BMS, Vaddela led multiple projects on the synthesis of anti-cancer compounds, earning an excellence award. With a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Vaddela has contributed significantly to the field through innovative methodologies and total syntheses, including the synthesis of Tamiflu.
