Serena Lefort

Serena Lefort, CPA, CA, is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. As the Founder of The Connext Group since August 2018, Serena provides strategic finance support to private companies. Currently serving as the Head of Finance and Operations at Venn Growth Partners and as Chairperson/Director of OMERS Dutch Coöperatief UA, Serena focuses on investment performance and compliance. Previous roles include key positions at OMERS, such as EVP Investment Finance & Tax and Managing Director, where strategic financial management significantly enhanced investment returns. Serena also has a background in M&A tax from KPMG Canada and experience as CFO at Trent Drugs. A graduate of Queen's University, Serena is furthering expertise through ongoing education at INSEAD.
