Jackie Desouza

Jackie DeSouza is an experienced communications professional with a robust background in strategic communications and stakeholder engagement. Currently serving as a Strategic Communications Advisor to the Chief Pension Officer at OMERS, Jackie has held multiple vice president roles related to communications and employer relations. Previous leadership positions include Director of Corporate Communications at Ontario Power Generation and Director of Strategic Communications for the City of Toronto, where Jackie managed extensive teams and developed communication strategies for major public and organizational initiatives. Jackie also served as Sr. Director of Communications & Marketing at Mount Sinai Hospital and as Director of Communications for the Canadian Olympic Committee, overseeing communication strategies for significant national and international events. Jackie holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University.
