Joel Fonseca

Joel Fonseca has a strong background in data modeling and database administration. Joel is currently working as a Lead Data Modeler at OMERS. Prior to that, they held the role of Data Modeler at both Capco and SONDA. Joel also has experience as a Database Administrator DBA at Nérus and as a Data Modeler at Unisys.

Before focusing on data modeling and database administration, Joel worked as a Software Developer at Engeman Software de Manutenção and as a Developer Internship at Uaisoft. Joel has experience with languages such as C# and has used databases such as SQL Server and Oracle.

Joel Fonseca completed their education in a chronological order as follows. In 2009, they started their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Universidade de Itaúna, which they successfully completed in 2013. Later, in 2017, Joel pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Database at IGTI, concluding it in 2019. In 2020, they attended Douglas College for a Post Graduation Diploma in Project Management. Outside of their formal education, Joel obtained a certification in "J.T. O'Donnell on Making Recruiters Come to You" from LinkedIn in January 2021.
