Laura Spence

Laura Spence, CPA, CA, CBV, currently serves as Vice President of Investment Finance & Valuations at OMERS since May 2019, previously holding the role of Director in the same department. Laura's expertise in valuations was developed during tenure at KPMG Canada as Senior Manager in Deal Advisory from July 2017 to April 2019, and as Senior Manager in Corporate Finance at KPMG Luxembourg from September 2014 to July 2017. Earlier professional experience includes positions as Manager in Transactions Advisory and Senior Accountant in Financial Institutions Assurance at KPMG in Canada from September 2008 to September 2014. Laura holds a Bachelor of Commerce with First Class Honours in Accounting and Finance from Queen's University.
