Susan Silma

Susan Silma, LLB, MBA, currently serves as the Lead for Member Engagement Transformation at OMERS, after holding various key positions in the financial services and non-profit sectors. Susan has been Chair of the Governance Committee and Strategic Planning Committee at Community Living Toronto since 2013, focusing on innovative support for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Previous roles include Head of Risk and Regulatory Business Practices at Sun Life, where efforts were aimed at enhancing client experiences and regulatory compliance, and Co-Founder and Partner at CRM2 Navigator, which helped wealth management firms navigate regulatory changes. With extensive experience in compliance and strategic initiatives, Susan also held significant roles at the Ontario Securities Commission and as General Counsel at Working Ventures Canadian Fund, alongside their early career as a corporate lawyer at Torys LLP. An alumna of the Schulich School of Business and Osgoode Hall Law School, Susan combines legal expertise with a robust business administration background.
