Teresa Maljar-Hupel

Teresa Maljar-Hupel is an experienced professional in information management, currently serving as the Lead Information Management Specialist at OMERS since May 2024. Previously, Teresa held the role of Manager for Strategic IT Governance, Advisory & Oversight at BMO from November 2022 to May 2024. Prior to that, Teresa worked at the Public and Business Service Delivery as an Information, Privacy & Archives Project Advisor, where involvement included co-leading a Diversity & Inclusion Working Group and participating in the Indigenous Relations Working Group. Additional roles include Senior Archivist at the Archives of Ontario, Processing Archivist at the Archdiocese of Toronto, Information Management Analyst at the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, and various positions in archival support and research. Teresa holds a Master’s degree in Information, Archives & Records Management from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s degree in English from Toronto Metropolitan University, alongside a semester abroad at Edinburgh Napier University.
