Randy Chitty

A member of the Malaysian Institute of Public Accountants since 1994, Mr Randy’s extensive career spans more than 30 years in a range of roles across Audit, Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Operational Management, Property Development & Construction and Investor Relations. His career began in 1989 with Ernst & Young, where he served in the Audit Department until 1993. He then joined the Corporate Finance Division of Arab Malaysian Merchant Bank Berhad, followed by various senior management roles with TA Securities Berhad, Pancaran Ikrab Berhad and Bukit Kiara Properties Sdn Bhd.

From 2004 until 2007, he served as Group General Manager of Finance at AWC Facility Solutions Berhad (now known as AWC Berhad, before joining Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad as Director/Senior Vice President in the International Corporate Finance Division. In 2015, he rejoined AWC Berhad, becoming Chief Financial Officer (CFO), before moving to Malaysia Smelting Corporation Berhad in early 2018. From October 2018 until November 2021, he served as the CFO of KA Petra Sdn Bhd Group of companies. He has also served on the Board of Radiant Globaltech Berhad as Independent Non-Executive Director (INED) since 2017, and Independent Non-Executive Chairman of IDB Technologies Berhad since August 2021.

He previously sat on the Board of Omesti Berhad as an INED and served as Chairman of the Audit & Risk Management Committee from March 2021 until December 2021, when he stepped down in advance of taking on his new role as CFO of Omesti Berhad. Outside of the corporate sector, he has served as Honorary Treasurer of the Squash Racquets Association of Malaysia (SRAM) since September 2020.
