Emily Coates is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product and design leadership. Currently serving as the VP & Managing Director of Product & Design for Cards at OneMain Financial since December 2020, Coates spearheads brand and product design for a new credit card launch. Previous roles include Associate Creative Director of User Experience at Kettle, and co-founding Exfederal.com, where Coates facilitated connections between employers and individuals with Federal experience. Additional contributions include freelance work as Art & UX Director for The New York Times, and product and user experience design at We Are Old Souls. Coates has also held creative director positions at SonicNotify, Densebrain, and The Panel, alongside early experience as a graphic designer at Fleishman-Hillard. Coates holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Virginia Tech.
