Rajesh Rao

Rajesh Rao has extensive work experience in the field of data engineering. Rajesh started their career at Wipro Technologies as a Technical Lead, where they developed ETL jobs using Infosphere DataStage and implemented complex data transformations. Rajesh also focused on standardizing development steps and automating routine work to increase productivity. In 2014, they joined OneMain Financial as a Vice President/Director of Data Engineering. There, they led a team in transforming their on-premises data warehouse to a modern cloud native data platform. Rajesh successfully implemented a large-scale data program, partnering with various teams and utilizing scalable, secure technical architecture and tools. Rajesh also prioritized the career growth and development of their team members by providing necessary tools, mentoring, training, and guidance.

Rajesh Rao graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Sathyabama University in 2007.
