Jan Paul Smits

Jan Paul Smits is an experienced acoustic consultant with a strong background in building physics and acoustics. Since 2019, Jan Paul has been working at Omgevingsdienst Brabant Noord, where expertise in acoustic consultancy is applied. Previously, Jan Paul held positions at Nelissen ingenieursbureau and Sweco Nederland, focusing on building physics and sound and vibration consulting, respectively. Jan Paul also gained significant experience at M+P | Müller-BBM Group, Wetering Raadgevende Ingenieurs BV, and Kupers & Niggebrugge B.V., where contributions to noise and vibration studies, as well as sound insulation projects, were made. Jan Paul's educational foundation includes a Master of Science in Building Physics and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Building and Planning, both from Eindhoven University of Technology.
