Marcel de Wagt

Marcel de Wagt possesses extensive experience in horticulture and environmental management, having founded Kwekerij van Opvallende Vaste Planten in 2003, focusing on the niche market of garden and plant enthusiasts. Concurrently, Marcel has served as a project manager at Omgevingsdienst Brabant Noord since 2007, leading various initiatives in waste collection, enforcement in farming, and framework implementation within the province. Previously, Marcel was head of the permits department at RMB, and worked as a product innovator and project leader at DLV Adviesgroep, where innovations in agricultural advisory services were promoted. Earlier career highlights include overseeing inspection policies at BKD Bloembollenkeuringsdienst and developing agricultural information systems. Marcel holds a degree from Agrarische Hoge School in Horticulture and has a foundation in VWO education.
