Bart Knuvers is an architect and educator with extensive experience in the field of architecture and environmental law. Currently serving at Omgevingsdienst IJmond since November 2023, Bart is involved in building permits for municipalities including Beverwijk, Heemskerk, Landsmeer, and Zandvoort. As the owner and architect at O.A. architectuur BNA since May 2008, Bart has engaged in various architectural projects. Additionally, Bart has been a practice and design instructor at the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment at TU Delft since February 2011, teaching multiple design courses. From September 2020 to January 2024, Bart was a member of the BNA-Jong core team, focusing on development programs for young design talent. Bart's prior experience includes roles as an assistant designer at ONX Architecten and a work preparer during an internship at Smit's Bouwbedrijf. Bart holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from Delft University of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Built Environment from HTS Haarlem.
