Marcus Sloog

Marcus Sloog is an experienced professional in project management and regional coordination with a focus on energy transition and infrastructure development. Currently serving as regio coördinator E-infra for Omgevingsdienst IJmond and as warmteregisseur for warmteregio IJmond, Marcus has led initiatives in warmtenet development, renewable energy sources, and gas-free building environments since February 2018. Prior roles include interim project management for various municipalities and a coordinator position at the University of Amsterdam, complementing a strong educational background in Human Geography. The extensive career encompasses leadership in disaster management, environmental planning, and community development across multiple organizations since 2007.
