Heidi Brown

Heidi Brown is a highly experienced professional in innovation and business development, currently serving as the Director of Innovation and Business Development at OMI Industries since January 2021. Previously held the role of Director of Strategy and Innovation at OMI Industries from October 2017 to December 2020. Prior to that, Heidi managed the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency, overseeing 150 full-time employees and a $30M budget, while also leading initiatives that contributed $190M to the state economy. Additional experience includes serving as Chief of Staff at the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, and various roles at State Farm, where Heidi focused on innovation management and strategic planning. Heidi holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Illinois State University.
