Andreas Nenning has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Andreas began their career as a Certified Electrician at Stadtwerke Feldkirch in Austria in 1991. After that, they worked as a Telecommunication Maintenance Electrician at Fernmeldebauamt Feldkirch from 1992 to 1994.
In 2000, Nenning completed an internship at SwissOptic in Heerbrugg, Switzerland. Andreas then joined B&R Industrial Automation in Feldkirch, Austria as an Application Engineer in 2001, before moving to B&R Industrial Automation Corp in Atlanta, GA in 2002 as a Project Manager International Application.
From 2006 to 2007, Nenning worked as an Automation Engineer at AutomationSolutions Atlantic Inc. in Beverly, MA, gaining professional experience in machine controls and customer support. Following that, they joined Bachmann electronic GmbH in 2007 as a Product Manager for Drives, where they stayed until 2013.
Since 2013, Nenning has been working at OMICRON electronics as a Product Manager. Additionally, starting in 2016, they have been a part-time External Lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Vorarlberg.
Andreas Nenning completed an apprenticeship for Electrician from 1987 to 1991, earning the title of Certified Electrician. From 1994 to 1996, they attended Studienzentrum Bregenz and obtained a Matura degree in Technik. Andreas then went on to study at the University of Applied Science Vorarlberg from 1996 to 2001, where they earned a Dipl. Ing. (FH) degree in Fertigungsautomatisierung. Andreas continued their education at the same university from 2008 to 2011, obtaining a MSc degree in Mechatronics.
