Katerina Tzortzi

Computational Linguist at Omilia

Katerina Tzortzi is an accomplished computational linguist currently employed at Omilia - Conversational Intelligence since September 2019, where Katerina contributes to the development of the DiaManT® Natural Language Understanding platform. In addition to this role, Katerina has been a research scientist with the Hellenic OCR Team since December 2017, focusing on processing parliamentary texts. Previous experience includes serving as a scientific associate and project assessor at the Institute for Language and Speech Processing, as well as teaching Greek and Ancient Greek at the private coaching school "Synolo." Katerina holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Linguistics from the University of Crete and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Language Technology from the National Technical University of Athens, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon.
