Omitron
Michelle Tamoria is an experienced aerospace professional with a strong background in flight operations and systems engineering. Currently serving as the Flight Operations Team Lead at Omitron Inc. since June 2011, Michelle is responsible for leading a team in the preparation of the operations and control center for the upcoming PACE mission. Previous roles include Spacecraft Systems Engineer for the Joint Polar Satellite System, where Michelle coordinated spacecraft subsystems and ensured compliance with NASA's requirements, and Flight Operations Team Deputy for both the Deep Space Climate Observatory and GOES-R programs. Michelle's earlier experience includes monitoring the Fermi Satellite at Goldbelt Orca and the Rossi X-Ray Timing Experiment at Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc. Michelle holds a Master's degree in Systems Engineering and a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
