Krisztina Rigó

Krisztina Rigó has a range of work experience in the field of bioinformatics and software research. Krisztina is currently working at Omixon as the Head of BioIT, a position they have held since May 2022. Before this role, they were the Head of Software Research from July 2017 to May 2022. Krisztina also worked as a Senior Scientist at Omixon from January 2016 to July 2017, where their responsibilities included NGS data analysis focused on HLA genotyping, algorithm testing and validation, and customer support. Prior to that, they were a Staff Scientist at Omixon from February 2011 to January 2016.

Before joining Omixon, Krisztina Rigó was a PhD student at Szent Istvan University from September 2009 to August 2012.

Krisztina Rigó pursued their education from 2004 to 2009 at Szent István University in Budapest, Hungary. Krisztina completed their MSc in Applied Zoology and specialized in Parasitology.
