Alexander Levakin

Alexander Levakin has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Alexander started their career as an Engineer at The Institute of Radioengineering and Electronics (IRE) of Russian Academy of Sciences in 2003. Alexander then worked as a DWH Consultant at AT Consulting from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they joined Vimpelcom as a Software Release Manager, where they worked until 2012.

From 2012 to 2014, Alexander worked as an IT Project Manager at GE Capital, where they successfully delivered four projects on time and within budget. Alexander then served as a Program Manager at CB OTKRITIE (CJSC) from 2014 to 2015.

In 2015, Alexander joined Technoserv as a Project Manager and led the development of custom software for their Corporate Data Warehouse (DWH). Alexander also played a key role in the implementation of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) system.

Most recently, Alexander has been working at the United Metallurgical Company since 2019 as the Head of the DWH & BI Department. In this role, they have been responsible for establishing and supporting various IT processes, including development, QA, IT support, and self-service BI community. Alexander has worked on IT systems built on SAP BW and Tableau and has also been involved in business analysis and release management.

Alexander Levakin attended the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT) from 1998 to 2004. During their time there, they pursued a field of study in Engineering Physics, although specific details about the degree they obtained are not provided.
