Theo Leanse

Theo Leanse is currently the VP of Engineering at Omnea, a position held since 2025. Prior to this role, Theo served as the Director of Engineering and held several other engineering management positions at Multiverse from 2020 to 2025. At the Financial Times, Theo worked from 2015 to 2019, starting as a Junior Software Engineer and advancing to Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead. Theo's early career included freelance journalism from 2010 to 2015, focusing on writing about books, music, travel, and technology for notable publications. Additionally, Theo worked as a Buyer at Sounds Of The Universe from 2010 to 2014. Theo holds a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford, obtained in 2010, and completed a course at Makers in 2015.
