Mark Sebastian

Chief Software Architect at Omnex Inc

Mark Sebastian has a diverse range of work experience spanning several companies and roles. Mark began their career as a Systems Analyst at Aeroquip Corporation, working on transaction-style Purchasing Systems. Mark then worked at Machine Vision International as a Project Leader, designing an inspection system for IBM's keyboards. Afterwards, they joined KnowledgeWare, Inc as a Staff Software Engineer, where they developed tools for the company's CASE products and led the conversion of the Knowledge Coordinator. Mark also worked as a Consultant at The Contractor's Network, assisting in porting a product to UNIX. Mark then became a Senior Software Engineer at Sterling Software, Inc, where they worked on the Knowledge Coordinator and developed tools for users to extend the model. Mark then joined 4Keeps, Inc as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed the 4Keeps Knowledge Management Platform. Prior to their current position, Mark worked as a Consultant at Pennatus. Mark is currently the Chief Software Architect at Omnex Systems, where they develop web applications based on the Advanced Product Quality Planning manual.

Mark Sebastian attended the University of Illinois Chicago from 1974 to 1978, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Michigan from 1978 to 1980, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Mathematics.
