Omni Design Technologies is the leading provider of Analog, Mixed Signal IP and related ASIC. We are a fast-growing company looking for talented and driven team players who are interested in working in a challenging environment, wish to be impactful and influential, and appropriately rewarded. As part of our growth, we are seeking a highly motivated Sales Director. The successful candidate, with a focus on strategic customer relationships and opportunities, will develop and grow our IP Licensing and ASIC business. Ideally located in the Bay Area, the successful candidate will be tasked with growing our US Western Region. This is a Full-Time position.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on Revenue, Gross Margin, and Design Win goals.
  • Prospecting for new accounts and identifying new opportunities while maintaining and growing the existing customer base.
  • Developing strong trustworthy relationships with senior-level managers such as engineering, executive management, and purchasing at target accounts.
  • Working with our IP and ASIC marketing team to develop account strategies based on market analysis and customer segmentation.
  • Negotiation of contracts for Silicon IP Licensing, and Turnkey ASIC.
  • Working with our commercial legal team preparing Contracts.
  • Forecasting immediate revenue and long-term growth outlook.
  • Identifying customer’s immediate and future requirements, market trends, and helping to align our product development, manufacturing, and investment strategies.

Desired Characteristics

  • Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • US National or visa authorization for U.S. employment.
  • High-energy and self-driven with strong ability to take ownership of customer relationships, solve issues, and coordinate solutions with customers
  • Team player with excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Strong project management and negotiating skills.
  • Experience in Semiconductor; Design, Sales, Customer Engagement, or Field Applications Engineering.
  • Practical experience selling; semiconductors, IP, foundry services or ASIC.
  • Proven success in penetrating and developing relationships with new accounts.
  • Experience with Analog and Mixed Signal, ASIC, or SoC Technologies.
  • Experience in detailed forecasting and sales opportunity funnel management
  • Target-oriented, with a track record in sales growth combined with excellent customer satisfaction
  • Working knowledge of salesforce.com or equivalent and other common software.
  • Excellent presentation skills. Comfortable presenting to large groups of technical and business personnel.
  • Strong semiconductor industry network with pre-existing executive relationships.
  • Good knowledge base and industry background in some of the following areas: semiconductors, wireless/wireline communications, Lidar, Radar, automotive semiconductors
