Veneesh Pillai

Veneesh has over 20 years of experience in the tyre industry and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt holder. During his career he has worked with some of the major global tyre manufacturers and is well versed with the European and Asian regions. At Omni United Veneesh is responsible for product development and industrialization. He also coordinates all research and development work with the factories and manages product certifications, audits and compliance.

Prior to joining Omni he spent 3 years at CEAT tyres in India where he was heading the product development. He has also worked in companies like Apollo Tyres in India, Cooper Tyres in the United Kingdom and Apollo Vredestein in the Netherlands. In addition to this Veneesh also worked as a Research Associate at the University of Wales, Swansea where he worked on a Graphene Composite project which was funded by the Department of Trade and Industry, United Kingdom.

Veneesh was born in India and holds an Engineering degree in Polymer Science from Mahatma Gandhi University, India and a Masters degree in Polymer Science and Rubber Technology from The University of Leeds, United Kingdom.
