Erwyn van der Meer

Erwyn van der Meer has been working in the IT industry since 1998. Erwyn began their career as an Onderzoeker in Opleiding at Stichting FOM in 1998. Erwyn then moved to Rabobank in 1999, where they worked as a Software Developer and Software Architect. In the same year, they began working at Logica as a Software Developer and Software Architect. In 2007, they joined Fortis as a Software Architect. From 2008 to 2023, they worked at Microsoft as a Senior Apps Consultant and Principal Consultant. Since 2011, they have been a Secretary and member of the board at Stichting WAZUG NL, a non-profit organization behind the Dutch Microsoft Azure User Group. In 2023, they joined Omnia Retail as a Software Architect.

Erwyn van der Meer obtained a MSc in Physics from the University of Amsterdam between 1992 and 1997. Erwyn has since obtained a number of certifications, including a Senior Technical Leadership Program - Alumni from Microsoft in June 2022, a Customer Facing Skills Initiative: Strategic Communication from Microsoft in May 2021, an Accessibility in Action from Microsoft in March 2021, an Agile Foundations from LinkedIn in March 2021, a Scrum: The Basics from LinkedIn in March 2021, an Exam 532: Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions from Microsoft in February 2018, an MCSA: Cloud Platform - Certified 2018 from Microsoft in February 2018, a Microsoft-INSEAD Online Business Strategy and Financial Acumen from INSEAD Executive Education in December 2016, an Exam 534: Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions from Microsoft in March 2015, a Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft in April 2012, a Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate from Microsoft in May 2019, a Microsoft Specialist: Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions from Microsoft in March 2015, and a MCPD: Windows Azure Developer from Microsoft in July 2011.
