Vanessa Verlaan

Vanessa Verlaan is the current Chief Operating Officer at Omnia Retail, a company that specializes in dynamic pricing software. Vanessa has been with the company since May of 2020, and previously served as the Operations Director. In this role, they were responsible for all key operations programs, including OKRs, Scaling Up, eNPS, Quality, and Legal. Additionally, they worked to grow employee performance by developing the management skills of all Omnia managers and developing L&D programs.

Prior to joining Omnia Retail, Vanessa served as the Head of People Operations at another company. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's human resources function. Vanessa was also responsible for creating and implementing policies and procedures related to employee recruitment, retention, development, and compensation.

Vanessa Verlaan has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from NCOI Opleidingen and a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism Management from Schoevers. Vanessa also has a certification from InContext Consultancy Group as an Assessor Facet 5 and a certification from UPD - Join the Spark* as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Vanessa is currently enrolled in an Executive Management Programme at Vlerick Business School.
