Călin Ciobanu is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and product development. As Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Omniaz since June 2018, Călin focuses on building augmented reality solutions that enhance consumer experiences in the FMCG and retail industries. In addition, Călin provides technology consultancy services through calinux, specializing in software design, project management, and development processes. Călin also served as Chief Product Officer and Founder at Assyst Solutions, where the emphasis was on AI-powered software for workflow automation and process optimization. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at Nugit and Duriana, where Călin made significant contributions to backend services, API development, and mobile application performance. Călin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Automatic Control and Information Technology from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest.
