Xuefeng Chen

Xuefeng Chen is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the design and development of electromechanical products, particularly in the life sciences and medical devices sectors. Currently serving as Mechanical Engineer V at Omnicell since April 2025, Xuefeng previously held the position of Principal Mechanical Engineer / Staff Lead at Gener8 from August 2022 to April 2025, where key accomplishments included managing projects and leading technical redesigns. Prior roles at Gener8 encompassed a Senior Systems Engineer, focused on automated lab instruments, alongside a significant tenure as a Staff Systems/Mechanical Engineer at Genapsys, contributing to gene sequencing instrument development. An academic background includes a PhD from Stanford University, where research involved innovative muscle imaging techniques and ALS diagnostics, complemented by a Master's degree from Stanford and a Bachelor's degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
