Kirya Francis has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Kirya currently holds the position of Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer at Omnicom Commerce Group since 2022. Before that, they served as the Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer at the Collective powered by Omnicom starting from 2021.
Prior to their roles at Omnicom, Kirya Francis worked at GSD&M for several years, where they held various positions. Kirya was the VP of Diversity & Inclusion from 2019 to 2021 and led a team responsible for data and operational processes as the VP of Solutions from 2017 to 2019. Kirya also had the role of VP/Director of Media & Research Technology from 2010 to 2017 and Director of Media Systems from 2000 to 2010.
Kirya Francis has also been involved in various organizations and events related to diversity and inclusion. Kirya served as the Immediate Past President and President of AAF Austin, a local chapter of the American Advertising Federation, from 2019 to 2023. Kirya was also the Incoming President from 2018 to 2019 and held the position of Cultural Diversity Co-Vice President from 2017 to 2019.
In addition, Kirya Francis has participated in panel discussions and conferences as a panelist, moderator, and speaker. Kirya was a panelist at the "Job's Not Done" Diversity and Inclusion Conference organized by The University of Texas at Austin - Center for Media Engagement in 2018. Kirya also spoke at the Texas Conference for Women in 2016 and was a keynote speaker at Solve San Francisco by Rackspace in the same year.

- From 2012 to 2013, they attended the Texas McCombs School of Business, earning a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Technology Commercialization.
- From 1989 to 1993, they studied at The University of Texas at Austin, obtaining both a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Radio-TV-Film Production, specializing in TV Production, and a Bachelor of Journalism degree in Broadcast Journalism.
