Brian Clayton

Brian Clayton is the Chief Data Privacy Officer at Omnicom Group. Brian has over 19 years of experience in the legal field, with a focus on compliance, privacy, risk, and cybersecurity.

Previously, Brian served as the Associate General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Chief Privacy Officer at Conduent. In this role, they were responsible for global privacy compliance, including GDPR, CCPA, GLBA, and HIPAA. Brian also served as the Global Head for Intellectual Property and led the commercial litigation portfolio.

Brian has extensive experience in a variety of global transactions, including service and vendor agreements, banking transactions, IT and IP agreements. Brian is a key advisor to HR and ethics teams, and has supervised cross-functional cyber security, risk and investigation teams.

Brian earned their J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and their B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.

Brian Clayton has a Juris Doctor from New York Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. Brian is also certified in CIPP/US from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
