Michael Mercer

Michael Mercer has over 30 years of experience in various financial and business development roles. Michael is currently the Chief Financial Officer at OMNICOMMANDER since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a CFO Consultant and Business Development Specialist at Mercer Resources Group LLC, focusing on turnarounds, startups, and underperforming businesses. Michael also provided capital financing consulting services, including debt and equity financing. Mercer has also served as a Financial Controller at Actsoft Inc from November 2020 to May 2021. Michael held the position of CFO and Project Finance Manager at Mercer Energy Finance Group from November 2017 to November 2020, specializing in financing solutions for energy developers. Additionally, they worked as a CFO in Energy Project Finance at Equiventure Capital, LLC from January 2016 to November 2017, where they specialized in financing energy and renewable projects. Mercer has also held various CFO roles in different companies such as Iron City Workplace Services, Pittsburgh Recycling Services LLC, Omaha Paper Stock Company & Affiliates, Waste Management, Inc., and Chiquita, where they gained extensive experience in marketing, operations, finance, and acquisitions in the recycling industry.

Michael Mercer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. Michael then pursued further education and obtained an MBA degree in Business from the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business, completing their studies from 1995 to 1997.
