Geisell Amador has a diverse and extensive work experience. Geisell started their career as a Research Assistant at Texas Tech University, where they focused on areas of clinical health psychology and public health, specifically in the development and evaluation of interventions to prevent HIV/AIDS. Geisell also conducted research to promote positive psychosocial adaptation among individuals living with HIV.

Afterwards, Geisell worked as an Office Manager at NeuroDiagnostic Laboratories, where they managed multiple locations and was responsible for hiring, training, and reporting employee data. Geisell also exceeded conversion quotas for medical procedures.
