Nick Gustavsson

CTO and Co-Founder at Omnilert

Nick Gustavsson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Nick currently serves as a Member of the Board of Advisors at Boat School Ventures since December 2019. Previously, they worked as the CTO and Co-Founder at Omnilert, a leading provider of emergency notification and management solutions. Nick held this role from April 2004 until an unspecified date.

In 2011, Gustavsson worked as an author for The Lemonade Stand. Nick was also a Partner at Venture Mentors LLC from January 2004 onwards.

From June 2003 to August 2004, they worked as the Director of Business Development at Salar, Inc. In this role, they devised a strategy to break into the competitive medical documentation workflow market, formed partnerships, and secured venture capital funding.

Gustavsson also served as the Chief Technology Officer at Columbia Technologies, LLC from April 2002 to June 2003. Nick introduced a new process to speed up traditional environmental measuring processes and implemented a web-based sales strategy.

Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Engineer at TeleCommunications Systems, Inc. from February 2001 to February 2002. In this role, they led efforts to enhance wireless communications technology and collaborated with other divisions on location-based solutions.

Nick Gustavsson attended Vanersborg College from 1980 to 1982, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering. In addition to their college education, they have obtained several certifications over the years. In 2006, they became an American Mensa Life Member. In 2017, they completed the Disney's Approach to Leadership Excellence program at the Disney Institute. In 2018, they obtained certifications in Product Management: Building a Product Strategy from LinkedIn and Disney's Approach to Employee Engagement, also from the Disney Institute.
