Piotr Gawłowski

Piotr Gawłowski has worked in the finance industry since 2017. Piotr began their career as a Channel Management Trainee (Trade Marketing) at Kompania Piwowarska in 2017. In 2018, they worked as a Customer Business Specialist at Velvet CARE sp. z o.o. and as a Financial Controller and Business Accountant at Decathlon Polska. Since 2020, they have been working as a Financial Controller at Omnipack. During their time at Decathlon Polska, their role included preparing budgets and trajectories for business units and monitoring of variances between actual costs and budgets, preparing and verifying the price lists of e-commerce logistic services, managing of costs centres’ structure, participation in monthly financial closing, monitoring deviations from standard logistic and retail, calculation, verification and acceptance of provisions, business unit financial liquidity management, logistic services costs analysis, support in negotiations with customers and suppliers, carrying out an inventory of fixed assets and working with the SAP system on an everyday basis.

Piotr Gawłowski attended SGH Warsaw School of Economics from 2011 to 2017 and obtained a Magister degree in Finanse i Rachunkowość. In 2014, they also attended Northeastern Illinois University for a year in the same field. In 2016 and 2017, they attended Università degli Studi di Firenze for Consulting and Marketing. In 2013, they obtained a Certificate in Business Accounting from CIMA.
