Alex Zakharenkov

Alex Zakharenkov has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the technology industry. Alex is currently the VP of Engineering at Let'sMOD, where they began in September 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Consulting CIO at Omniscent, Inc. starting in April 2018. Before that, they served as a Consulting CTO at VSR Network Technologies starting in May 2015. Alex also has experience as a Principal Consultant and founder at smartaz.com, where they specialized in implementing cloud and hybrid applications. Additionally, they have held positions as a Consulting CIO at Polyup, Inc. and as an IT Lead and Information Systems Specialist at Cal-PASS. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Director of Advanced Technologies and Applications at The SIMI Group and as a Consultant at Virtual Alert. Alex began their career as a Senior Application Engineer at Motiva and then worked as an Application Engineer at Right Angle Software (later Motiva).

Alex Zakharenkov attended Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) from 1989 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics. In addition, they obtained several certifications on Coursera, including Applied Plotting, Charting & Data Representation in Python in April 2017, Machine Learning in December 2016, and Introduction to Data Science in Python in November 2016.
