Avisa A. Poshtkouhi

Avisa A. Poshtkouhi has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Avisa began their career in 2010, working at various companies. Avisa then took on a role as a Software Engineer Intern at NeuroLeap Corp in 2020, where they focused on data retrieval and analysis, as well as implementing data storage and retrieval using P-list and SQLite3. In 2021, Avisa joined General Assembly as a Full Stack Software Engineer Fellow, gaining experience in various software engineering skills. Avisa later transitioned to the role of Instructional Associate SEI at General Assembly, where they worked closely with Lead Instructors to guide students in their software engineering careers. Currently, Avisa is employed at Omniscent, Inc. as a Software Engineer, delivering complete solutions using technologies such as Python, React, Angular, and MySQL, and writing and testing code in TypeScript, JavaScript, and SQL.

Avisa A. Poshtkouhi began their education journey at Islamic Azad University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering. Avisa then pursued further education at RMIT University, focusing on iOS development with Swift. Avisa later enrolled in General Assembly to enhance their skills in Computer Software Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Avisa also obtained various certifications to broaden their knowledge and expertise. These include certifications in Advanced Node.js, JavaScript: Patterns, Raspberry Pi Essential Training, MERN Essential Training, React.js Essential Training, React: Components, Context, and Accessibility, Responsive Web Design, and Git: Branches, Merges, and Remotes. Avisa also holds a certification in Certified iOS Development with Swift from RMIT University. These certifications showcase their dedication to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in their field.
