Nina Senna has had an extensive work experience beginning in 2018. In 2018, they were a Freelance Graphic Designer, Freestyle Coach and General Secretary for Legion Dance Society, and Student Ambassador, Biosciences Student Rep, and Exeter iGem 2020 Team Member for the University of Exeter. In 2021, they began working for Omniscope as a Scientific Liaison, Junior Community Manager, and Intern. During their time as General Secretary for Legion Dance Society, they were in charge of booking, scheduling, and assigning rehearsal and class spaces and times across the whole society. As a Student Ambassador for the University of Exeter, they worked to encourage high schoolers to pursue or consider higher education, highlighting the paths they could take and the opportunities a degree can offer. During their time as a member of the Exeter iGem 2020 Team, the project achieved Gold Medal standard and they were involved in planning the laboratory work, genetic manipulation planning, team organization, graphic design, website writing, and science communication content.
Nina Senna received their International Baccaulourett from The British School Rio de Janeiro in 2016, having studied Biology, Chemistry, Maths, History, Portuguese and English. Nina then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Exeter, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
